Living Libations – how I love thee

These bottles have been populating my shelves for quite some time now since they are some of my favourites…  I hummed and hawed whether I should bring them into Kolya – they are a pricey bunch of products, with very humble packaging – so I was not sure how our customers would respond.  Yet I felt guilty that I was using something that we did not have on our shelves, so I figured what the heck – just bring them in so everyone else can enjoy.Living Libations Best Skin Ever, Living Libations – How I Love Thee | Kolya Naturals, Canada

Living Libations products are simple, but so, so lovely.  When I first found them while visiting Toronto, I thought how easy it would be to make them myself, but the more I played with them, and the more I used them, I realized there was a  unique alchemy to their skincare.  Plus, my hair loved their Shampoo and Conditioner above all others – go figure.

They are well known for their holistic dental products, focused heavily on healing and promoting tooth and gum health.  I was surprised at how well their under arm deodorants work (amusingly called Poetic Pits), because the only ingredients are undiluted sandalwood, cardamon and fir.

And I cannot forget to mention “Everybody Loves the Sun” body oil.  I took the oil on holidays this winter and looked forward to using it after every shower.  And last, but of course not least, is their “Seabuckthorn Best Skin Ever”.  Living Libations promotes this as their cleanser and moisturizer, leaving the skin supple, smooth and clean.

Oh yes, before I forget, Mr. David Wolfe – super food guru extraordinaire, loves them!

Take great care,

Nicola

Having trained in herbal and cultural medicine, I found the sense of “home” in health food stores. I joined Optimum Health Vitamins in 1997, which later became our family-owned business. I loved working with natural medicines, but wanted to “get my hands dirty” in the herbs and clays and butters. I wanted to flood my senses with the plant world, and wanted to share everything I found with our customers and clients. This is why I founded Kolya Naturals.
