Melt and Pour Soap
Servings Prep Time
8circular molds (maybe more, depending on mold sizes) *

  1. Melt the soap base in a pot or double boiler over low heat.
  2. Once melted, if you are adding essential oils, do so now. Otherwise, pour directly into desired soap molds.
  3. Wait for 20-50 seconds before sprinkling one or more types of dried botanicals on top of the warm soap. (If the soap starts to set, you may need to gently press the botanicals into the first layer of drying soap so that they will stick)
  4. Put the soaps aside and let them set for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on mold size. You can put them in the fridge for a faster set time.
  5. Once set, pop out of soap molds and wrap with a nice decorative material, paper, or place in a large beautiful jar. Label, then gift or enjoy!

* When choosing a mold container, ensure it is a material that will allow you to “pop” out the soap, after it has hardened.

** We recommend the following Earth’s Aromatique Melt and Pour Soap Bases: goat’s milk, shea butter, cocoa butter, aloe vera, hemp seed oil, and glycerin.
