This DIY Botanical Body Wash recipe provides a wonderful cleansing action, which has aromatic benefits of either relaxing and calming the nerves while bringing in clarity (lavender love) or uplifting and invigorating, while purifying and toning the skin (purifying lemongrass).

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Dr. Bronners Castile Soap all natural oil base cleanser
- 1 tbsp Decyl Glucoside foaming, mild cleanser
- 1 tbsp Coco Glucoside foaming, cleansing, thickening agent, derived from coconut oil
- 1 tsp Rice Bran Oil antioxidant, deeply penetrating and hydrating
- 1 tsp Wheat Germ Oil preservative & moisturizing, with vitamins A, B, D & E
- 8 drops Essential Oil Blend see below for options
- 1 tbsp Hydrosol see below for options
- Lavender Love:
- 8 drops Lavender Love Essential Oil Blend anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antifungal
- 1 tbsp Lavender Hydrosol pH balancing, cooling, regenerative
- Purifying Lemongrass:
- 8 drops Purify Essential Oil Blend circulatory stimulant, cleansing, toning & uplifting
- 1 tbsp Lemongrass Hydrosol toning, great for sore muscles, uplifting & good for tired bodies (including jet lag)
Instructions
- Using a funnel, add wheat germ oil, rice bran oil and coco glucoside to bottle.
- Add decyl glucoside, castile soap, and hydrosol.
- Choose either blend for soap, and add appropriate essential oil. Succuss, and enjoy!

Recipe Notes
If gluten sensitive, omit the wheat germ oil and use 2 tsp of rice bran oil instead.
