Kolya Naturals Show & Tell… What do you use?

‘What do you use?’ is a popular question asked by customers at Kolya Naturals. We’ve taken it to heart and asked our staff to show and tell you what they use at home. Here’s a sneak peek into Amy’s bathroom cupboard to see what she uses:

what i'm using numbers
1. Bobby Pin Home!
My dear husband (fed up with my trail of bobby pins around the house) installed magnetic strips on the inside of our bathroom cabinet—making the perfect place for my bobby pins.

2. Earth’s Aromatique Hydrosols
Hello, my name is Amy, I am a Hydrosolaholic. I use hydrosols for: toner, pre/post foundation, first aid, wrinkle aid (both face and clothing wrinkles ☺), mid-day hydration, etc.

3. Dr.Hauschka Bronzing Concentrate
Some days I add a small pump to my moisturizing cream or oil to give my skin a subtle glow and soften the appearance of blemishes.

4. Weleda Pomegranate Body Oil
I love oil-—internally, externally, face, body, bath…You’ll notice numbers 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 16 are oils.

5. Lafe’s Tea Tree Deodorant
It’s the one that works (for me).

6. Castor Oil
This rich plant oil is excellent for facial cleansing and for anti- inflammatory “packs”. I use this oil for cleansing my face and for making “Castor Oil Packs” to ward off menstrual cramping.

7. Grateful Body Normal Skin Moisturizer
A simple, yet lovely, moisturizer.

8. Oil Mix
I sometimes use this blend of argan, coconut, evening primrose, vitamin e, & jojoba to remove my mascara.

9. New Roots Skin Lovers Oil
His favourite! This is a beautiful blend of skin loving oils (seabuckthorn, goji, rosehip, argan & tamanu oil). Too bad it doesn’t smell quite so lovely.

10. RMS Beauty Oil
Truly a beautiful oil—Buriti, Jojoba, Rose Hip, Tamanu, Ashwagandha with a delicate Vanilla aroma….and it has ‘beauty’ in the name, it’s like a beauty affirmation with every application.

11. Eminence Organics Tomato Seed Oil
You won’t smell like a Tomato! Perfect for after the sun.

12. Grateful Body Rosacea Gold
I have been experiencing Perioral Dermatitis over the last 6 months and this light cream is packed with anti-inflammatory & anti-fungal ingredients that help to soothe my irritated skin.

13. The Body Deli Vital-C Serum
My daily dose of vitamin C!

14. Intelligent Nutrients Plant Stem Cell Renewal Serum
I use this intense serum at night as an antioxidant lullaby for my skin.

15. NewCo Broccofusion Ointment
For sunspots, blemishes, skin tags (seriously, it removes skin tags) and my PO dermatitis. I put it on all my weird skin things.

16. Dr.Hauschka Normalizing Day Oil
Although my skin is fairly normal, some days I feel a little oily. This oil is designed to balance sebaceous production—in other words, it tells the oil makers that they can take the day off as it has everything under control!

17. Jane Iredale Mini LA Just Kissed Lip Plumper
This tester fits nicely in my cupboard and is the most perfect shade of pink.

18. Sock Bun!

19. Sandalwood Essential Oil
My favourite EO.

20. Inspired Energy Transformative Perfume
When I’m needing energy and feeling spicy.

21. The Best Hair Bun Fastener (from Yarok’s Fun Bun Set)
Move over bobby pins, there’s a new clip in town. Seriously, the-best-hair-keeper-upper-ever!

22. Pretty Lady Tweezers
I like my Tweezer Ladies to be modestly dressed.
