Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup Distilled Water
  • 1/8 cup Organic Hydrosol floral water created from the essential oil extraction process- refer to notes for options
  • 1/2 tsp Vegetable Glycerin a natural vegetable emollient that softens and soothes the skin and assists the outer epidermis to retain moisture
  • 1/2 tsp Aloe Vera Juice naturally soothing, healing and slightly astringent
  • 2-3 drops Essential Oils choose from the face-friendly oils in the notes

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in bottle and succuss (gently tap the bottom of bottle against heel of hand) 100 times to blend completely.
  2. Use within three months of making.
Application
  1. After cleansing or shaving, apply Herbal Face Tonic to slightly damp face. This tonic can also be used as a “pick-me-up” throughout the day.

Recipe Notes

Essential Oils Skin type:

  • Atlas Cedarwood- mature, damaged, acne, oily skin
  • Cypress- oily, congested
  • Rosewood- all skin types, combination
  • Ylang Ylang- dry, oily combination, irritated

 

Hydrosols Skin type:

  • Lavender- all skin types, acne, dermatitis, dry, wet eczema, rosacea
  • Neroli or Helichrysum- oily, acneic
